WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on United Way reaching its goal

RSS

The United Way of North Rock County reaches its fundraising goal.

Resource Development Director Tammy DeGarmo says 100.1% of the $1.35 million goal has been reached. This is the first time the goal has been attained since 2000. She says the total does not include the raffle of a Chevy Tahoe, which raised an additional $200,000.

This year's goal was lowered to reflect the loss of jobs in the auto manufacturing sector.
