Evansville hosts the 7th Annual Community Energy Fair Friday.

Organizer Butch Beedle says more than 60 exhibitors and displays from hundreds of school children are expected. Beedle says the goal is to empower individuals to more easily embrace a "Green" lifestyle. He says interest in the event appears to be growing as environmental concerns become more widespread.

Up to 2000 people may attend the event, which runs from 4:30 til 8:00 in the Evansville Field House.
