From the City of Janesville:

The City of Janesville is in the process of designing a multi-level parking garage for city-owned property at the southwest corner of North Parker Drive and Wall Street. The property is currently developed with a surface parking lot located behind the Odd Fellows Building located at 22 N. Main Street. Property owners along the Main and Milwaukee Street corridors within the vicinity of this property were sent invitations to the open house, as well as members of the Downtown Development Alliance. The open house will be held on Wednesday, April 22 in the Municipal Building Council Chambers (18 N. Jackson Street). The meeting will take place from 5-7PM. A short presentation on the proposed construction of the parking garage will occur at 5:30PM. The project engineer as well as City staff members will be in attendance and available to answer questions.

Those who are unable to attend this open house can receive information regarding the proposal by contacting the Community Development Department at 608-755-3085.
