Two farm buildings are completely destroyed in an early Thursday afternoon fire in the Town of Beloit.

Several area fire departments responded to 2807 South Nye School Road a little after 1:00 o'clock. Flaming debris was carried on the wind, starting a grass fire on the other side of the road. The property is vacant, and no one is believed injured.

A cause has not yet been determined.
