— Fans of the show, "Supernatural," which airs on the CW network Thursdays at 8 p.m., are passionate about the subject.

A new book, "In the Hunt," features 22 essays on topics as diverse as the depiction of faith and the treatment of myths and legends.

There's also a chapter on demon hunting on a budget, written by Supernatural role-playing game author Jamie Chambers of Lake Geneva.

"Writing this article was relatively painless and easy," Chambers told the science-fiction Web site, sfsite.com. "I'd already spent a lot of time working on the subject matter. And, because my article was somewhat casual and about a specific subject it kind of wrote itself."

Chambers wrote his chapter at Lake Geneva's Thumbs Up bar because it was, "the exact kind of place you'd expect Sam and Dean to stop for a beer and to hustle pool."

areyouevenlistening: I would have to agree. This article seems to have no point to it. It is about as useful as the following: "I set out to catch the bus this morning. It didn't seem as cold as yesterday." Wasn't that boring? :O) Makes you want to say..."yeah....SOOOO????????"
