Rock County fire departments respond to South Beloit fire

Local fire departments are on the scene of a commercial fire in the 700 block of Eastern Avenue in South Beloit.

South Beloit fire officials say the call came in at 11:33 Tuesday morning, and fire crews remained on scene at 1:30pm. According to Rock County 911 dispatch the City of Beloit, Town of Beloit, Town of Turtle, City of Janesville, Orfordville and Clinton fire departments provided mutual aid.

South Beloit police say the fire is not considered suspicious, and the damage could be estimated at $200,000.
