WCLO's Steve Benton reports on predictions for this year's Airfest

— Air show organizers look at certain data to help them anticipate crowds. Southern Wisconsin Airfest director, Tom Morgan, says this year looks real good.

He says three air shows, held in other parts of the country since the beginning of the year, have had large or record crowds and that bodes well for Rock County's Airfest. Another indicator is internet traffic. Morgan says both web site "hits" and e-mail inquiries are up dramatically over last year.

Reasons for the enthusiasm vary. He says the Southern Wisconsin Airfest features the Blue Angels jet team, a top draw. Morgan also says "what you get for your money is a great value" and that's important in tough economic times.

Airfest will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport, May 29th through the 31st.
