Arft is just back from the International City / County Management Association's annual conference in Richmond Virginia. Arft says he's ready to use what he's learned for the good of the community. One of the workshops he attended may benefit Beloit. He says it was all about rewriting city codes to make it easier to bring in new "green technologies" in building business and industry.
