Economy may play a role in presidential politics

The nation's current financial market crisis could play a part in the upcoming presidential election.

UW-Whitewater Political Science Professor Emeritus John Kozlowics tells WCLO's Stan Milam show Republican candidate John McCain may have the most to lose, because he's on record saying the economy was fundamentally sound.

Kozlowics says during the upcoming presidential debates both Obama and McCain will need to project a sense they can do something about the problem.
