Elkhorn swimmers come through
ELKHORN The Elkhorn Invitational belonged to the home team, but Millton and Janesville Parker also got a signifcant part of the action in high school girls swim competition here Saturday.
Elkhorn won the team title with 439 points, followed by former Southern Lakes Conference rival Milton with 381, Fort Atkinson with 273 and Parker with 241.
Jenna Miland highlighted Parker’s day with 1:20.89 winning time in the 100 breaststroke. The Vikings also took second in the 200 freestyle relay, with Miland, Samantha Witek, Emily Mauermann and Megan Olin notching a 2:04.29 time behind Elkhorn’s 1:56.34.
Terrin Seaver won the 100 butterfly for the Elks in 1:09.33. She also was on Elkhorn’s winning 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Milton set the pace with first-place finishes in the six events. The Red Hawks’ individual winners were Stacey Kincade, 200 freestyle; Hailey Foss, 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke; Jennah Haney, 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Foss, Kelsey Shadel, Stacey Kincade and Haney won the 200 medley relay for Milton.
