Street conversion to begin Sept. 15
JANESVILLE The process of converting North Franklin and North Jackson Streets from one-way to two-way streets between Centerway and Mineral Point Avenue will begin Monday, Sept. 15.
The roadways are scheduled to be converted to two-way traffic by Friday, Sept. 19. The work will include pavement marking, signing, and parking changes in addition to the creation of an all-way stop at the intersection of North Jackson Street and Madison Street.
This is a continuation of a project started in 2006 when the two streets were converted to two-way operation between Rockport Road and Centerway.
