Snappers drop season finale

BELOIT — The Beloit Snappers lost 7-3 to the Burlington Bees in a Midwest Ledague baseball regular-season finale here Monday.

Burlington scored three runs in the seventh inning, including Clint Robinson’s two-run homer, for the final victory margin.

Beloit starting pitcher Shooter Hunt (1-4) took the loss, allowing four runs on four hits through the first two innings. Three Burlington pitchers held the Snappers to five hits.

The Snappers concluded the second half of the season 35-35.
