-- AMY JO VAZQUEZ-CASH, 43, of 3323 Mt. Zion Ave., Janesville, on a bench warrant Saturday charging failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.


-- SHANE L. SEITZ, 35, of 2121 Pioneer Road, Janesville, on charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct at his home early Monday morning.


-- MICHAEL J. MUENCHOW, 20, of 1532 Excalibur Drive, Janesville, on bench warrants Monday charging failure to appear in court on earlier charges of party to eight counts of misappropriating identification, nine counts of credit card theft, two counts of theft and two counts of forgery.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JOSE L. LAURENCIO, 31, Rockford, Ill., at 6:31 p.m. Aug. 24 in Beloit Township on a charge of driving a motorboat while intoxicated. He also was cited for failure to register a boat and obstructing a police officer.


-- DAGOBERTO CORTES ARREOLA, 49, of 314 N. High St., Janesville, at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday at Mineral Point Road west of Little Road, Janesville Township. He also was cited for having open intoxicants in the vehicle.


-- TAIWAN L. FRANKLIN, 19, of 1112 W. Wall St., Janesville, at 11:14 p.m. Thursday at Wall and Madison streets in Janesville.


-- COLLEEN J. BARKER, 44, of 1318 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, at 10:35 p.m. Friday at Humes Road and Interstate 90/39, Janesville. Barker also was charged with possession of vicodin and percocet without a prescription.


-- SHELLY L. HOLCOMB, 18, of 4825 N. Brentwood Drive, Milton, at 3:12 a.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion and Randall avenues in Janesville.

-- STOLEN VEHICLE reported Aug. 25 in the 5600 block of North Northwood Trace, Janesville. The reporting person said her daughter took her car without permission after an argument.


-- BURGLARY to nine storage units at Alternative Storage, 1900 Alden Road, Janesville, reported Friday. A 32-inch LCD TV valued at $600 was among items stolen.


-- THEFT of a 1999 GMC Jimmy, value not listed, from the 2000 block of Kellogg Avenue in Janesville reported Saturday.


-- STOLEN VEHICLE reported at 8:25 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Wall Street, Janesville. The vehicle, a 1993 black Nissan, was recovered, according to a police report.


-- BURGLARY reported at 9:05 a.m. Monday at Victoria’s Secret in the Janesville Mall, 2500 Milton Ave., Janesville. The store reported someone broke in overnight and stole $5,463 from the cash registers.


Accidents

-- KUTTER HARLEY-DAVIDSON PARKING LOT in Janesville at 7:11 p.m. Friday, motorcyclist Thomas D. Heath, 47, Saugus, Mass., was smoking his rear tire and lost control of his motorcycle. He was treated and released at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.


-- CENTER AVENUE AND WEST DELAVAN DRIVE in Janesville at 10:42 a.m. Saturday, a car driven by Kyle E. Kuhnen, 20, of 2917 Westwood Drive, Janesville, turned in front of a bicycle ridden by Ashton H. Dix, 16, of 853 Walker St., Janesville. Dix was seen at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Kuhnen was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.


-- MCKINLEY STREET EAST OF SOUTH CHATHAM STREET in Janesville at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, motorcyclist William A. Gray, 37, of 658 College St., No. 4, Milton, was arguing with his passenger—Daphne D. McQueen, 35, of 108 N. Pine St.—and jerked the handlebars causing the motorcycle to overturn, police reported. Gray also left the scene. He was arrested on a felony charge of first-degree reckless injury and ticketed for hit and run. McQueen was in goodcondition this morning at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.


-- LAFAYETTE STREET AND CONDE STREET in Janesville at 8:49 p.m. Sunday. A car driven by Rosa M. Contreras, 27, 1211 King St. No. 4, Janesville, crossed the centerline, jumped the curb and hit a parked car. Contreras was treated and released at Mercy Hospital. She was cited on a charge of drunken driving.


Fire

-- SHED FIRE at 2:24 p.m. Monday at 663 Champlain St., Janesville. Hot ashes from a campfire kettle were placed close to the exterior wall of this 6-by-6-foot building and caught on fire. A neighbor put out the flames before Janesville firefighters arrived. Damage is estimated at $100.
