Two seriously injured in Milton area crash

Four teen-agers are hurt, two seriously, following an accident on Highway 26 just north of Milton early Thursday night.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office reports 17-year-old Tiffany Duffy of Madison stopped for the stop sign on County "N" at Highway 26 just before 6:00 last night, but then pulled into the intersection. A north bound semi broad-sided her SUV. Duffy and passenger 17-year-old May Cho of Madison were treated and released, but two other passengers., 18-year-old Xis Vas and 15-year-old Hannah Zhang of Madison were seriously injured and taken to UW hospital, one by Med Flight. Duffy was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. The semi driver from Canada wasn't seriously hurt. Highway 26 was closed for 3 1/2 hours.

All the teens were wearing seat belts.
