-- JAMES A. HELGESON, 63, Adams, at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Jail on charges of battery to an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.


-- BRANDON JAY LYGA, 23, of 1033 N. Claremont St., Janesville, at 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Jackson Street in Janesville on the charge of delivering marijuana.


-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 3:45 p.m. Monday at his home referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child.


-- A 13-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at school referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana in a school.


Reported

-- BURGLARY reported at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker High School in Janesville. Reported stolen were two flat-screen monitors, one desktop computer, three laptop computers and two speakers. The value of the items was reportedly $6,600.


-- BURGLARY reported at 11:25 p.m. Monday to a garage in the 8800 block of West County A, Evansville. The burglar tried to break into the home from the garage.


Accidents

-- COUNTY D NORTH OF HANOVER ROAD in Bradford Township at 4:01 a.m. Saturday, a sport utility vehicle driven by Samantha L. Sanders, 24, of 1527 Royal Oaks Drive, Janesville, struck a deer. Sanders was ticketed for not wearing her seat belt. She was taken to a local hospital for unknown injuries and her condition was not available this morning.


-- GARFIELD AVENUE AT EAGER COURT, Evansville, at 3:37 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. A car driven by Trevor M. Long, 18, of 106 Campion Drive, Evansville, was westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control, went into a terrace, struck a tree, then continued across Eager Court and struck the garage at 240 Garfield Ave. Long fled on foot and later was cited for intoxicated driving, underage drinking, speeding and failure to notify of an accident and of striking property.
