— The Janesville Salvation Army is asking for donations of turkeys and all the fixings to create a meal for almost 200 people on Thanksgiving Day.

Turkeys and other food items, including stuffing mixes and sweet potatoes, should be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays through Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Salvation Army Community Center, 514 Sutherland Ave.

Volunteers will set up, prepare and serve the meal. Last year, about 165 people were served. For more information, call (608) 757-8300 or visit www.janesvillesa.org.
