Rock County men from all walks of life will be pulling on high heels Friday afternoon in downtown Janesville to help raise awareness of domestic violence.

YWCA Development Director Jeff Bealls says local businessmen, law enforcement, city councilmen and even the local Harley owners group will take part in the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event. Bealls says one of the walkers last year offered his coworkers an autographed picture of himself in the high heels. He charged $20 per picture and raised $500.

The walk starts at 5:30pm at the Armory Dinner Theatre, with a fund raising event there following the walk.

hey piznat, maybe your man card should be suspended indefinitely for not manning up and taking the walk yourself and for trash talking the MEN that did.

Attention male participants: Good cause to support, but you have had your man card suspended for 1 month for wearing high heals.
