— Beloit Regional Hospice has established the Ken Hendricks Granting Wishes Fund, named for the late Hendricks, who died suddenly in December.

Memorial donations totaling more than $96,500 will be invested into an endowed fund to grant special wishes that support quality of life for Beloit Regional Hospice patients and families through an application process.

“The idea is to get to the heart of what’s really important to individuals at the end of life, said Mary Deem, executive director of Beloit Memorial Hospice. “This aligns well with Ken’s heartfelt belief in the specialized approach and the feeling side of hospice.”

Beloit Regional Hospice provides care for terminally ill patients and support for their families.
