— A year long effort to become more involved in recycling is taking place on the UW Rock County campus and one of the featured events was a recycling fair Wednesday.

Project Ahead coordinator, Kristin Fillhouer, says the fair included displays, presentations, and experts to answer questions. But she says some of the activities will continue for the rest of the year and will be carried into the classroom.

Fillhouer says the next "on campus" event associated with the recycling theme of "Reduce and Simplify" is a swap meet in which participants can trade their trash for treasures. It's scheduled for November 6th.
