- A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY was referred to authorities at noon Friday at the Janesville Police Department on a charge of strangulation.

- BURGLARY reported at 2:20 a.m. Oct. 5 at Cigarette Depot, 1527 Milton Ave., Janesville. The business reported 37 cigarette cartons worth $1,786 stolen and glass doors valued at $500 broken.


Accidents


- MINERAL POINT AVENUE AND WALNUT STREET, JANESVILLE at 2:09 p.m. Thursday. A station wagon driven by Laura J. Zimborski, 59, of 2900 Kennedy Road No. 16, Janesville, struck a truck driven by Donald E. Heitsman, 86, of 1436 Tyler St., Janesville, while turning left onto Mineral Point. A passenger, Joan E. Zimborski, 63, address unknown, was reported transported. Laura Zimborski was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.
