Rock County

-- JAMAR L. JOHNSON, 19, of 822 S. Masters St., Beloit, on a charge of escape Tuesday at the Rock County Jail.

-- ROBERT J. GRICE, 29, of 615 Laurel Ave., Janesville, on five charges of burglary and three of theft Tuesday in connection with break-ins to storage units in Janesville.

-- ERIC M. YOSS, 17, of 4537 S. County G, Janesville, on charges of hit-and-run causing injury, reckless driving, disorderly conduct and battery and ticketed for minor possessing alcohol after an incident at 9:34 p.m. Monday on West Sunny Lane west of County G in Rock Township in which deputies reported he confronted another driver—Tyler J. Quade, 18, of 6219 S. Highway, No. 1038, Janesville—about objects thrown at his vehicle. Yoss hit and bit a passenger in Quade’s car, then got in his car and intentionally rammed Quade’s car, deputies reported. MATTHEW A. GROSS, 20, of 313 Rosewood Drive, Janesville, a passenger in Yoss’ car, was ticketed for underage drinking, and PATRICK J. KNILANS, 18, of 511 S. Garfield Ave., Janesville, a passenger in Quade’s vehicle, was ticketed for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- ANDREA RAMIREZ-ARELLANO, 26, of 1521 Swallow Lane, Janesville, at Jackson Street and Reuther Way in Janesville at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. It was reported as her second arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

-- MATTHEW R. DAVIS, 21, of 4234 Allendale Drive, Janesville, at 8:57 p.m. Saturday on County D north of 6th Street in Rock Township. It was reported as his second arrest on a charge of intoxicated driving. Also arrested on charges of possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia.

-- TIMOTHY M. CULLEN, 20, Platteville, at 3:23 p.m. Tuesday at County A and Arbor Ridge Road in Janesville after a two-vehicle accident. Deputies reported that Cullen admitted taking a prescription painkiller, Percocet, and drinking a beer. It was reported as his second arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Also ticketed for underage drinking.


-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 1400 block of West Memorial Drive in Janesville reported Saturday. A diamond-framed watch, valued at $500, was reported stolen.

-- BURGLARIES to a garage on West County H and a barn on South Smythe School Road, both in Newark Township, reported Friday and Tuesday respectively. All-terrain vehicles—one from the garage, two from the barn—were reported stolen.

-- THEFT of a 1991 Jeep Cherokee, value not listed, from the 1900 block of North Pontiac Drive in Janesville reported Monday.

-- THEFT of 2,100 feet copper wire valued at $3,000 from Union Pacific Railroad tracks in Clinton reported Monday.

-- COUNTERFEIT $50 bill reported Monday at Diamond Jim’s, 6530 S. Highway 51, Beloit.


-- HIGHWAY 67 WEST OF COUNTY P in Turtle Township at 1:30 p.m. Monday, a car driven by Lillie L. Banks, 54, of 2505 Edgewood Drive, Beloit, ran off the road and rolled over. Banks, who was ticketed for inattentive driving, was treated and released at Beloit Memorial Hospital.


-- MARCUS E. KNUTSON, 20, of 5382 S. Jackson St., Janesville, with two counts of felony intimidation of a victim, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, battery, criminal trespass and two counts of felony bail-jumping stemming from a domestic disturbance Oct. 8 after which two Janesville women told police that Knutson had assaulted them and threatened to kill them.

-- LINDA LOU KLIETZ, 25, of 10510 N. McCord Road, Whitewater, with physical abuse of a child after an 8-year-old boy told his grandmother that Klietz had struck him repeatedly.

-- SARA M. LAWRENCE, 17, and MATHEW T. DALY, 18, both of Monroe, both with party to forgery after police investigated an attempt Sept. 1 at Janesville gas station to cash a check reported stolen by a Brodhead woman.

-- GERALD T. LASKOWSKI JR., 39, of 124 N. First St., Evansville, with substantial battery and domestic disorderly conduct after Evansville officers on Saturday responded to a disturbance and found a man unconscious and bleeding from head and facial wounds.

Walworth County

-- HIGHWAY 120 AT HIGHWAY 50, LAKE GENEVA. A vehicle driven by Raymond T. Host Jr., 63, of 1213 Pleasant St., Lake Geneva, collided with a vehicle driven by Eva M. Czarnojanczyk, 43, of 250 S. Edwards Blvd., No. 101, Lake Geneva, at 7:07 p.m. Oct. 7. Host was reported transported to a local hospital.

-- HIGHWAY 50 EAST OF BAUER PARKWAY, DELAVAN. A vehicle driven by Karijo Y. Wysocki, 22, of 618 Bowers Blvd., No. 6, Delavan, collided with a vehicle driven by Ashley A. Sieber, 20, of 1437 Lilly Lane, Delavan at 4:13 p.m. Friday. Wysocki was reportedly transported to a local hospital.

-- HIGHWAY 50 EAST OF PEARSON DRIVE, LAKE GENEVA. Karen L. Ricard, 49, Muskego, lost control of her motorcycle and crashed at 1:01 p.m. Sunday. She was reportedly transported to a local hospital.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- ERIC LEHN, 19, 1212 Larkdale Lane, Elkhorn, at 2:03 a.m. Wednesday on North Fremont Street on the UW-Whitewater campus. He also was arrested on charges of theft, operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and operating after suspension.


-- MARY T. LEFAIVE, 30, no fixed address, on Oct. 2, on charges of burglary and theft. She is accused of breaking into an apartment in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard, Delavan, and stealing a digital camera, lens and memory card valued at $3,000. The items were recovered and returned to the owner.

-- A 17-YEAR-OLD DELAVAN BOY was referred to juvenile authorities Tuesday on charges of causing a bomb scare and unlawful use of a telephone. He is accused of calling Delavan-Darien High School at 5:51 p.m. Monday and leaving a bomb threat on the school’s answering machine. The call was reported to police at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.


-- BURGLARY to an apartment in the 300 block of East Walworth Avenue, Delavan, reported Oct. 5. A laptop, stereo and PlayStation 3 valued at $2,000 were reported stolen.
