Arrest nets 8 ounces of cocaine

— An Elkhorn man remains in the Walworth County Jail after cocaine, marijuana, cash and two vehicles were seized from his home, according to a Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit news release.

Alejandro L. Gonzalez, 29, of 634 N. Patricia St., No. 203, Elkhorn, was charged Tuesday with four felony counts of delivery of cocaine, Deputy District Attorney Joshua Grube said.

Gonzalez was arrested Oct. 2 by the drug unit, Elkhorn Police Department and Whitewater Police Department, according to the news release.

Later in the day, 8 ounces of cocaine, 14 grams of marijuana, two scales, packaging material and about $2,000 in cash were found during a search of Gonzalezís home, according to the news release.

Law enforcement officials also seized a 2002 Dodge pickup truck and a 1998 Ford Mustang, according to the news release.

Gonzalez is being held on $30,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to be in court at 1 p.m. today.
