Craig boys soccer team falls
Playing on the road continues to be a struggle for the Janesville Craig High boys soccer team.
The Cougars fell to 0-9 on the road this season after dropping a 4-0 nonconference game to Kettle Moraine on Saturday.
The Lasers scored scored twice in each half and limited the Cougars to only three shots on goal.
“We came out real flat and Kettle Moraine took advantage of it,” Craig coach Dave Adler said. “They dominated most of the game with a strong midfield and good overall team speed.”
Max Niedermeier made seven saves for Craig, now 3-12-2 overall.
Craig is at Verona on Thursday in a Big Eight Conference game beginning at 4:30.
