— Janesville Craig found visiting Madison West too much and suffered a 4-0 loss in Big Eight Conference boys soccer Tuesday.

Craig High trailed 1-0 at the half, but West’s Big Eight leaders put the game away with three goals in the second half.

“We actually played a real solid first half against the best team we’ve faced in the Big Eight so far,” Craig coach Dave Adler said of effort against the Regents. “We did a fine job of defending, but we couldn’t hold them off in the second half like we did in the first.’’

Craig (3-10-2, 3-4-1) hosts Milton at 7 p.m. Thursday.
