School safety up for discussion in Janesville

A nationally-recognized school safety expert says Janesville performs well in the area of security.

Kenneth Trump brings his message to the Educational Services Center Tuesday. He says he wants parents to provide information about the level of safety in local schools. He says many schools across the country do not talk to their parents about safety until a crisis occurs. He says parents in Janesville should be happy the school district is taking a proactive approach using a competitive national grant.
