Jefferson County Sheriff's officials are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Friday night in the Town of Sullivan.

20-year-old Brandon Boaz of Dousman was westbound on County Road CI when his vehicle went on the shoulder of the road. After re-entering the roadway it went into the opposite lane of traffic and sideways into the path of a car driven by 68-year-old Lois Ehleiter of Dousman. Ehleiter's car struck Boaz's car on the passenger side.

A third vehicle driven by Ehleiter's husband, 69-year-old Wayne Ehleiter, attempted to avoid the crash but struck his wife's car from behind.

Both Boaz and Lois Ehleiter were pronounced dead at the scene. Wayne Ehleiter was transported to Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown.

It appears all occupants were wearing seat belts. The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff's Major Accident Investigation Team.
