Beloit man sentenced on cocaine charges
A Beloit man is sentenced Thursday on cocaine charges.
26-year-old Gerardo Cepeda is sentenced to two years in prison without parole for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Prosecutors say from December 2007 to April 2008 he acted as a middle man during numerous cocaine deals. Using court-authorized wiretaps, agents intercepted multiple drug-related phone calls.
He pleaded guilty in August.
