Highlights: The village made final payments on two loans, significantly reducing its debt from $1.84 million to $1.68 million, said Clerk/Treasurer Donna Schut. The loans were taken out for road work and and sidewalk installation in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Schut said the money that once went to principal payments now will be put toward necessary road repairs.
