WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on Hospice Month

RSS

For many families, hospice care becomes an important choice for a loved one.

National Hospice Month every November is an important time to raise awareness according to Tracy Markley of Beloit Regional Hospice. Markley is using the opportunity to dispel myths about what her industry does for patients and their families. Markely tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show the non-profit is reliant on benevolence. Volunteers are also an important part of Beloit Regional Hospice.

Markley also suggests talking about hospice care with family members before it's needed.
