JANESVILLE — Janesville police still are looking for several robbers who broke into an apartment Thursday night and assaulted two men in an apartment at 2906 N. Kennedy Road.

Officers know that three to five men wearing ski masks broke into the apartment at 11:28 p.m. and assaulted Alex Murphy, 20, and Chester Potter, 19, before stealing a television and PlayStation then fleeing in a dark-colored mini van.

Both Murphy and Potter suffered head trauma and were taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, police also found marijuana in the apartment. Murphy was arrested for possession with intent to deliver. Potter was arrested on an outstanding unrelated warrant. Both are in custody at the Rock County Jail pending their initial court appearances.
