-- A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY referred to juvenile authorities Sunday on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with owner consent. The vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Corolla, was recovered after being involved in an accident and sustaining an estimated $3,000 damage.


-- A 14-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY referred to juvenile authorities Sunday on two charges of defacing school grounds with graffiti.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JEFFREY G. HARRINGTON, 27, of 2036 Williamsburg Place, Janesville, at 1:40 a.m. Sunday at Parker Dive and Prospect Avenue in Janesville. It was reported as his third arrest on an intoxicated-driving charge. A passenger—Chad A. Carlson, 29, of 1547 Gartland Ave., Janesville—was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Accidents

-- VISTA AVENUE AT SOUTH FREMONT STREET in Janesville at 11:09 a.m. Sunday, a car driven by Steven J. Roller, 15 of 710 S. McKinley St., Janesville, struck a car driven by Robert W. Barfknecht, 66, of 34 Sauk Court, Janesville. Roller reportedly fled on foot before being apprehended and transported for medical treatment. He was ticketed for imprudent speed, hit and run and not having a valid driver’s license.


-- CENTER AVENUE SOUTH OF NICOLET STREET in Janesville at 10:19 p.m. Sunday, a motorcycle driven by Andrew J. Mueller, 45, of 628 S. Ringold St., Janesville, hit the median. Mueller was in critical condition this morning at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JOSHUA L. HOOVER, 19, Beloit, at 10:14 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Exchange Street, Brodhead. He also was cited for deviation from designated lane.
