Green County accient injures Monroe teen

— A car vs tree accident in Green County severely injures the driver.

Green County sheriff's deputies responded to the accident on Highway 81 around eight o'clock Thursday night.

Deputies report the vehicle was driven by 16 year old Nicole Wild of Monroe. She apparently lost control, crossed the centerline and struck a tree.

Wild was not wearing a seat belt and sustained critical injuries. She was flown to U-W Hospital in Madison by REACT helicopter.

No tickets have been issued pending completion of the investigation.
