Janesville City Council members will learn more about the city's public safety and library facilities Wednesday.

Administrative Analyst Peter Riggs says they'll look at Hedberg Public Library, Fire Station One and the Police Services building. Staff members will discuss current and future services and challenges each area faces. Riggs says it's a good chance for the council members to meet staff and get out into the operations they might not see on a regular basis.
