Rock County's Child Support Agency earns an award from the State of Wisconsin, which translates to federal funding.

Child Support Director Kris Baker-Ellis says when the county obtains its performance goals, it receives additional funds beyond what the agency normally receives. She says the state measures paternity establishment, court ordered establishment, collections on arrears cases and collections on current support.

Baker-Ellis says performance funds reduce the cost of the program for taxpayers.
