Changes may be ahead for the pet area of Palmer Park in Janesville.

Tom Edwards of Janesville is a big supporter of a section of Palmer Park reserved for dogs. So much so, last year he launched www.savethedogpark.com in an effort to fight a proposed aquatic center. Now he tells WCLO’s Stan Milam Show he’s worried the city is considering changes to the dog park. The city is taking suggestions for the undeveloped section of the park, including the area East of the Spring Brook Trail, and the pet exercise area. Edwards says they could include a fence and parking area.

The meeting is planned for 6:30 Tuesday night at Harrison Elementary School on Princeton Road.
