West's second half stings Craig soccer team

— Madison West High School's girls soccer team scored three goals in the second half to down Janesville Craig, 3-0, in a Big Eight finale on the Cougars’ field Tuesday night.

Not only did Craig lose to the Regents, it lost goalkeeper Sofia Sanchez to an injury with one minute remaining in the first half. Sanchez made five saves in the first half.

Craig finished 3-5 in the Big Eight.

The Cougars host Wauwatosa East in a nonconference game at 7 p.m. Friday.
