Craig golfers win Tri-City Challenge

— Janesville Craig claimed the top three finishers Friday to capture the two-day Tri-City Challenge at Glen Erin Golf Club.

Charlie Roherty (75-80—155), Greg Ruef (76-79—155) and Jeff Hesse (78-81—159) carried the Cougars to a two-day total of 636 and a 10-stroke victory over Milton.


The Red Hawks had four golfers in the 70s Friday. Justin Ferguson led Milton with a two-day score of 159 (80-79). Ferguson finished fourth overall.


Parker High’s Sam Larson (80-80—160) posted the low score for the Vikings. He finished fifth overall.
