Auxiliary sale in full bloom

JANESVILLE — The Janesville Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Mother’s Day sale starts at 10 a.m. Friday, in the Big Lots parking lot, corner of Milton Avenue and Black Bridge Road, Janesville.

Cash and carry items include hanging geranium baskets for $20 and foil-wrapped geranium pots for $10.25.

A rain date of Saturday, May 10, is set.

The auxiliary will also host an annual public two-day sale when pre-ordered flowers also can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15, at Fairview Mall, 2100 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville.

This sale features annuals, perennials, mums and pots. Proceeds support Salvation Army programs including camp scholarships, daily feeding activities and equipment needs.
