— Police responded to a stabbing report around 10:30 p.m. Thursday and reported arresting two adults and one juvenile after a family disturbance at 709 Rockport Road.

Residents of the address arrested were:

-- Joanne M. Olin, 39, on charges of domestic recklessly endangering safety while armed and domestic battery.

-- David E. Shilhavy, 35, on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and physical abuse of a child.

-- A 16-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed.

The incident started with a verbal argument between Olin and Shilhavy and escalated to the point where each of the three people arrested armed himself or herself with a knife, Sgt. Brian Vaughn said. Minor injuries were suffered after Shilhavy cut the boy’s finger, and Olin cut Shilhavy’s hand, he said.
