UW hockey team loses WCHA series

— Ryan Lasch scored in overtime Saturday as St. Cloud State beat Wisconsin 4-3 to win their best-of-three WCHA playoff.

Lasch took a pass from Garrett Raboin on the left wing and fired a shot on Badgers goalie Scott Gudmandson, followed his rebound and tucked it inside the left post.

The Huskies (19-14-5), who beat Wisconsin (15-16-7) 3-0 on Friday night, are headed to the WCHA Final Five, which begins March 20 in St. Paul.

Jase Weslosky had 46 saves for St. Cloud State.
