— If the owner of the Pioneer Estates mobile home park fulfills a laundry list of requirements from the county, the rezoning and conditional-use permit application finally could get the county’s approval.

The Darien Town Board approved Tuesday the application submitted by Dale Thorpe, attorney for Dan Daniels of Milwaukee, who owns the mobile home park at W7955 Creek Road.

The town board’s approval is subject to the requirements being met and the town attorney’s approval.

Michael Cotter, director of land use and resource management, said the list “definitely wasn’t deal-breaker stuff.”

The county requested verification of legal wording, a legend that clarifies structures depicted on the survey map and indication of the location and number of parking stalls, among other things.

Cotter said the county will take up the Pioneer Estates application upon completion of the requested changes.
