Several street projects start Saturday

— Street resurfacing activities are expected to begin on these streets beginning Saturday and continuing through July 16.

-- Holly Drive—Milwaukee Street to 125 feet north of Mackinac Drive.

-- Saratoga Drive—Dayton Drive to 300 feet east of Holly Drive.

-- Mackinac Drive—Dayton Drive to 125 feet east of Holly Drive.

-- Skyview Drive—Wuthering Hills Drive to 150 feet east of Lyndhurst Drive.

-- Palmer Drive—Main Street to Sharon Street.

-- Rotary Gardens—parking lot adjacent to Palmer Drive.

-- Pontiac Drive—Holiday Drive to Highway 14.

-- Green Valley Drive—Randolph Road to 200 feet north of Randolph Road.

-- Wuthering Hills Drive—Hearthstone Drive to Ruger Ave.

Work on the streets will include grinding and removal of a portion of the existing asphalt pavement followed by the placement of a new layer of asphalt.

The streets will be open to through traffic, and driveway access will be maintained during the work. Curbside parking will not be permitted, and congestion and delays should be expected.

Resurfacing activities on Wuthering Hills Drive are expected to be completed before the Fourth of July activities to be held at the Youth Sports Center this year.

Visitors to Lions Beach and Rotary Gardens are asked to park along S. Main Street from Palmer Drive to the south; along Palmer Drive from Main Street toward Beloit Avenue; and along Randall Avenue from Sharon Street toward Palmer Drive.
