Janesville School Board Member Tim Cullen is helping to coordinate a community response to General Motors' intention to close the Janesville Assembly plant.

Cullen and UAW Local 95 President Brad Dutcher are bringing together the efforts of local, state and federal government officials as they create a proposal for GM officials to consider. Cullen says it's not a slam dunk, but it's also not absolutely impossible, so they're going to try everything they can.

The governor announced their leadership on the project Monday.
