The intersection of Wuthering Hills and East Milwaukee Street in Janesville will soon see some safety improvements.

City Engineer Jack Messer says ultimately the city council would need to approve a roundabout recommended by consultants. The $440,000 project could be eligible for federal funds since it is a safety improvement.

The city council is scheduled to discuss the project June 23rd.

Consultants also recommend short-term fixes including additional pavement markings, a speed feedback sign and reducing lanes to two instead of four.
