Janesville police investigate child's death

Janesville police are investigating the death of a child.

Authorities responded to a home on North Washington Street, a little before 5:00 Saturday morning, to a report of an 11-year-old girl found dead. Police say the girl's father discovered her in the family's bathroom. She may have been dead for hours.

Police have not identified a cause of death.
