JANESVILLE — Janesville has three first-team players among the coaches’ All-Big Eight softball selections, which were announced today.
Senior first baseman Abby Geiger and sophomore catcher Gabrielle Cassady represent Craig High. Parker senior Kelley Koebler, a third baseman, first baseman and pitcher, has been selected as a utility player.
Junior infielders Jackie Koykkar and Lindsey Umberger and junior catcher Kristin Selbach represent champion Madison Memorial as first-team repeaters. Senior outfielder Kate Kessenich, whose Middleton team has qualified for the WIAA Division 1 state tournament, also is a first-team repeater.
Parker outfielder senior outfielder Alex Klawitter is a repeater on the second team.
