Library head guilty on alcohol charges
FONTANA The library director accused of buying alcohol for underage drinking parties was found guilty June 26 in Fontana Municipal Court of six counts of providing alcohol to minors.
Bobbi Sorrentino, 47, director of the Walworth Memorial Library, faced 15 counts of providing alcohol to minors, but nine were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
She was found guilty May 5 in Walworth County Court on six counts of providing alcohol to minors. She faced 15 counts, but 10 were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Sorrentino will pay nearly $3,000 in fines for the 12 citations.
Police originally issued 31 tickets for providing alcohol to minors after two underage drinking parties in May 2007.
Fontana police issued 15 tickets, and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department issued 16 tickets for underage drinking parties held near Sorrentino’s home May 4 and May 18, respectively.

I know that this is not an excuse, but in an earlier article, Ms. Sorrentino says “This whole ordeal was not a mistake or bad choice but rather an average, normal family that got caught up in an unusual circumstance.” I wonder what the circumstance was?

She is also said to be doing a "fine job" by her superior, so I doubt she'll be losing her position.

can we say this person stupid why would you buy that stuff for underage kids. when there are so many of us out here trying to stop the underage kids from drinking nice going maybe she should lose her job.
