-- KRISTY A. COPUS, 26, of 814 Johnson St., Janesville, on a charge of battery to a police officer at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson and Locust streets after a Janesville bicycle officer reported Copus took a swing at her and hit her in her bicycle helmet.
-- MINDY L. DEWITT, 39, of 1404 Swallow Lane, Janesville, on a charge of child neglect Wednesday at her home.
-- A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY referred to juvenile authorities Wednesday on charges of battery and operating a motor vehicle without owner consent.
-- JENNIFER L. BRENNAN, 22, of 1426 N. Randall Ave., No. 2, Janesville, on a charge of forgery Wednesday, and JESSICA A. BRENNAN, 18, same address, on charges of theft and party to forgery, both arrested in the 4400 block of East Highway 14.

-- KURTIS W. BILLINGS, 23, of 310 Gifford St., Orfordville, and PAUL K. HABERMAN, 20, of 305 S. Richards St., Orfordville, both with burglary and misdemeanor theft in connection with a break-in in early June to the concession stand in Purdy Park in Orfordville.
-- DANIEL GIL REYES, 27, of 1210 Kellogg Ave., No. 3, Janesville with armed robbery in connection to the hold-up June 9 of Jan’s K-Market, 11744 S. County K, Newark Township.
-- AMANDA L. VANKEUREN, 17, of 100 Falling Creek Circle, Janesville, with operating a motor vehicle without owner consent in connection with the theft June 17 of a 2000 Ford Explorer from a Janesville woman.
-- RICHARD D. BUSS, 49, of 1532 Lafayette St., Janesville, with second-degree sexual assault after a Janesville woman reported he forced her to have intercourse with him in early July.
-- CURTIS W. REDMOND, 27, of 1433 Gartland Ave., Janesville, with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and two counts of felony bail-jumping after police arrested Redmond on outstanding warrants—including a bench warrant charging failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of possessing marijuana with intent to deliver—and executed a search warrant at his home July 7.
