Snappers hammer Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, IND. — The Beloit Snappers pounded out 13 hits and benefited from seven errors in ripping the Fort Wayne Wizards, 13-2, in Midwest League baseball here Friday.

The Snappers feasted with three-, four- and five-run rallies from the second through the fourth innings for a 12-0 lead.

Beloit starter David Bromberg (6-6) blanked the Wizards on three hits through seven innings for the victory. Beloit’s Ben Revere and Rene Leveret had three hits apiece.
