— A helicopter lowers an air-conditioning unit onto the roof of Craig High School in Janesville this morning as work continues on the $70.8 million referendum projects at both the city's high schools.

The air-conditioning equipment for Craig was brought by truck to the site off of South Randall Avenue and then lifted into place.

A helicopter was necessary to move the unit because cranes cannot reach certain areas of the school’s roof, a contractor's spokesman said.

Janesville School Board members and other officials were scheduled to tour construction sites at both Craig and Parker high schools today.
